San Bernardino County Fire

The Upland Fire Department is in the Process of Transitioning to the San Bernardino County Fire Department. The City of Upland has initiated the Annexation process and Fire Services will be changed on July 22, 2017.

The members of the Upland Professional Firefighters Local #3477 are proud to transition to the Rank and File of the San Bernardino County Firefighters Local #935

UPD Open House

On September 17th, Upland Firefighters donated their time to assist the Upland Police Department by cooking hamburgers and hot dogs with their Chuck Wagon BBQ to celebrate their Fallen Officer Memorial Unveiling and PD Open House.
The Upland Firefighters are proud to stand side by side with their fellow public safety brothers and serve the public.

MDA Donation

On Friday September 16th, The Upland Firefighters Association Donated a check for $1500 to the local Upland MDA clinic. A new clinic located near San Antonio Hospital assists local kids whom suffer from Muscular Dystrophy. The Upland Firefighters are proud to help our local charities.

Upland Pop Warner Football

Upland Firefighters cook a pancake breakfast for the Upland Pop Warner Football opening day. Your Upland Firefighters donated their off-duty time to give back to the community and prepare breakfast for those that attended the morning event.
Upland Pop Warner is a local Upland Youth Program that has taught cheer and football for over 49 years to the children of Upland.

Golf Tournament Canceled

The Firefighters Charity Golf Tournament set for September 10th has been cancelled. Refunds for sponsors and participants are being issued.

Steven's Hope for Children

The Upland Firefighters Association presented a $1,500 donation to Steven's Hope for Children.

Steven's Hope is a local Upland charity organization that provides assistance to families with seriously sick or injured children. You can find out more about Steven's Hope for Children by visiting their website.

Soup On Event

The Upland Firefighters Participated in the Grace Lutheran Church annual "Soup On" Fundraiser for their Preschool. The Firefighters Prepared their famous fire-house Chile to rave reviews.

Upland High School Scholarship

The Upland Firefighters presented Anthony Moody, an Upland High School Student and Upland Fire Explorer with a College scholarship of $1,000. The presentation was part of the annual Upland High School scholarship and awards night. Anthony is an aspiring firefighter and was awarded for his community service efforts and participation with the Upland Explorer Program. CONGRATS Anthony Moody !!!

Stuff the Boot Event

On Saturday May 14th, Upland Firefighters along with the Upland CERT Team and Fire Explorers spent the day in the street, asking residents to "Stuff The Boot" for Upland Based Charities. As always, the Generosity and Support of the Local Community was overwhelming, making the event a great Success!!!! Check out the photo album to see some pictures from the event.

Upland National Little League

Upland Firefighters Prepared a Pancake Breakfast for the Families of the Upland National Little League at their Opening day on Saturday March 12th. The Upland Firefighters Association is a long time supporter of the Local League that is the Last League in the Nation to continue to provide a cost free opportunity for local kids to play baseball.

Red Cross Blood Drive

Upland Firefighters partnered up with the Upland Police Officers to participate in the Annual Battle of the Badges Blood Drive through the Red Cross today. Donating Blood is one of the great opportunities for the entire community to support those in need. We were proud to participate.

Upland National Little League

The Upland Professional Firefighters Association today made their first 2016 community impact by donating $1000 to the Upland National Little League. Firefighters Presented the Check today at their tryouts for this season. The Upland National Little League is the only remaining Baseball organization in the country that provides an opportunity for local kids to play in a baseball league for Free. The Upland Firefighters have had a long history of supporting this great Local Organization and are proud to help our Upland Kids.

Spark of Love Toy Handout

The Upland Firefighters handed out Toys and Cooked pancakes for underprivileged families in Upland on Saturday. The event was part of the "Spark of Love" toy drive. Off duty firefighters and their families showed up to assist with the event. Upland Firefighters frequently donate their time to the Upland Community.

Chili's "Tip a Firefighter" Fundraiser for Spark of Love

On Thursday November 19th, Upland Firefighters teamed up with the Upland Police officers at the Chili's Restaurant in Upland to raise $2,506 for the Spark of Love Fundraiser. Firefighters helped staff with serving tables and restaurant activities for the evening.

Old Skool Cruizers

On Sunday November 8, 2015 Upland Firefighters participated in the Old Skool Cruizers Fundraiser event for Spark of Love at Upland Memorial Park. Off duty Firefighters donated their time to cook Hamburgers for participants. The event raised money and collected donated toys for the Annual "Spark of Love" Christmas toy drive.

2015 Megan's Wings Event

The Upland Firefighters and their families helped sponsor and participated in the Megan's Wings event at McCarthy park in Upland this Saturday, September 26, 2015

Megan’s Wings is a non-profit volunteer based foundation established in memory of 9 year old Megan Savage who lost her battle to Leukemia on April 2nd, 2003. Megan’s Wings provides financial assistance to local families with a child undergoing cancer treatments.

The Upland Firefighters are proud to help our community, and support this great local organization.
